Prior to signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. The Cleveland rapper, who wrote lyrics at the pace of a speeding bullet experienced an explosive rise when, in 2011, he made the switch from self-released mixtapes to established label. It was from there, with all of his records making the top 10 charts.
