Molly lived in Pennsylvania and started working professionally as a teenager at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. She went on to reprise her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. In the same year, she was nominated for the Drama League Award.
